Until about a year ago, there were two recognised strategies to deal with a pandemic, namely 'suppression' and 'mitigation'. Those are extremes on a spectrum of stringency, and it was clear to everyone what they meant.

There were disagreements about the best strategy to deal with the #COVID19 pandemic essentially from the start, but at least there was the possibility of a dialogue. Then, new terms got created that seem to primarily capture some aspirations (e.g. hammer & dance or zerocovid).

Loosely defined concepts don't strike me as useful in the context of infectious disease epidemiology and/or public health. As such, I would encourage everyone to revert to standard nomenclature, unless they wished to propose new concepts, which should be characterised.
