The #1 trick to awesome ttrpg visual design?

Mimic. Remix. Lift. Hack. Reassemble. File off the serial numbers. MacGyver together. Originality comes from the twists, compromises, add-ons, and new meanings you put into it.

It's okay to learn by imitating someone else. Don't make an exact copy or pull inspiration from the same field you're creating in. Change its meaning. That's the trick.

Don't let people claim otherwise. Everything is a re-arrangement of something else + 0.5% originality.
