I don't know about you but I plan to become at least 10x *more* annoying to my elected officials than I have been for the past 4 years. LET'S DO STUFF.
Except for @RossanaFor33, who is my wonderful alder-person. I don't want to annoy you, I want to annoy the same people you want to annoy, so we can DO STUFF.
My plan is 100 letters/calls in the next 100 days.

That’s a *minimum,* friends.

Who’s with me?

P.S. I didn’t say I’d only bother *federal* officials.

Organizers ended cash bail in my state this year. There a million local things that need done.

Figure out what you can sustainably do, and put your poking stick there.
But I will say, if you have time to reply to me in detail about why it’s pointless, you possibly have time to type some words to @resistbot

& I know which one of these I would prefer.
Your electeds already agree with you? Great! TELL THEM. It’s not pointless.

Your electeds are soulless carrion ?

Ok, TELL THEM ANYWAY. Register your dissent. Make them work for every inch. And find the Stacey Abramses in your area and help.

💪🏻❤️❤️❤️
Also may I suggest writing letters to the editor ABOUT your worst electeds to your local newspaper, calling them out by NAME? “I am concerned about Congressperson’s X disregard for ______.”

They have staffers & pay for services just to clip and track that stuff.
If you think your creative disses of Rand Paul are lost on his staff, recruit 10 local friends to stagger letters that LIGHT HIM UP in the newspaper letters page.

Together you will seem like 100, and you will signal to others that they are not alone.
Like a Twitter storm of civic engagement but in real life.
