- Do your research on the key issues
- Give your Black staff/leadership space to be honest and angry
- Do not ask Black staff/leadership to explain/educate/ justify their hurt
[2] AFFIRM

- Name the issues explicitly and publicly
- Name your commitments explicitly and publicly
- Affirm the importance of anti-racism as an active process
[3] ACT

-Providing high-quality learning and development opportunities on race, racism, being anti-racist and an ally (not a one off session).
- Reviewing all policies and protocols through an anti-racist lens
- Ensure there is representation in decision making spaces
