Start by working together to simply generate questions— a whole page of questions. Then ask small groups of students to organize the questions into themes. Students then select 1 question and find information to address it. #sschat
Keep the activity going so that students see the value of the process of the whole cycle of inquiry — asking questions, gathering information, evaluating it, and synthesizing ideas in relation to values & ideologies #sschat
Next, students create media (an essay, blog post, video, or photo essay) to offer a detailed answer to 1 or more questions of their choice. #sschat. Then we can make connections to history & apply terms including sedition, insurrection, extremism, incitement etc
