If Twitter is a bellwether, we are observing interesting shifts within H-Right

Traditionally, H-Right stood for Hindu Rashtra, not Hindu raj

All Hindutva figures (be it Golwalkar, Savarkar, Vajpayee or even Modi) averred

Sections of H-twitter are now disagreeing with this
H-Rashtra meant Hindu basis for nationhood
H-Raj meant Hindu state

The latter was never a hindutva item. Nor it is an item for say the likes of Modi / Shah, to my knowledge.

But trads on twitter have different views
What Hindu-Raj means is -

It is no longer enough for public culture to be Hindu, and an open acknowledgment of hindu glue holding India together

Rather, there is an urge felt for legislation to support many Hindu causes
This is not merely restricted to legislation that evens the playing field, removes appeasement of minorities etc

Rather for legislation to support certain H-ideas

E.g. Should we outlaw H-M marriages?
Should we outlaw consumption of beef? (not talking of slaughter-bans here)
These things are not openly voiced yet

But an urge is definitely out there. It is manifesting itself on the fringes of Twitter

Though no BJP politician has supported such lines of thinking afaik
It might be a sign of things to come.

Which might eventually cause a split in the BJP

With the more religiously conservative "H-Raj" seeking wing splitting away to form a far-right party, leaving the BJP as the dominant somewhat secularized center-right party
