The conversation around vaccines feels jumbled because there are actually MANY policy ideas being floated:

- One dose only vs. two doses spaced apart vs. two doses but don’t reserve the second in the freezer
- Changes to Oxford vax vs. Pfizer/BioNTech (different evidence)
- Run a trial first vs. move forward but set up a cohort study vs. start vaccinating

There are also different communication approaches:

- Share key evidence accrued since peer reviewed publication vs. share brief summary and conclusions
- Scientific deliberation open vs. not
All of this to say, if you are following along at home and feeling confused, I get it. It is confusing! Sadly this reflects the urgency of the situation in the US, UK, and elsewhere. People are scrambling.
