My suspicion (just a hunch) is the Ahmadi Yiddish translation of the Qur'an was more about the political/symbolic significance of the language than a practical text. There are earlier Hebrew translations of the Qur'an, with manuscripts going back to the 16th century 1/3 https://twitter.com/Istanbultelaviv/status/1342117598931136512
and several more recent published translations (Reckendorf 1857, Rivlin 1936, Ben-Shemesh 1971). The Ahmadis did produce a partial Hebrew translation as well but its 1988 print date suggests it followed the Yiddish translation or was simultaneous. 2/3
