Let me introduce to you this guy in the right most of image - Mukesh. We release an order on him today for some major automation of our production line.

His father was an ice cream seller. And everyday would lose money as ice creams would melt. He used to go to some govt school but never enjoyed being there. He quit school and joined a small workshop as a peon serving tea to visitors

Almost 11/2 years back we were searching for someone to make hydraulic fixtures for precision production to automate a production line. I googled and found his page on FB. Asked my team to call him. When I first met him was shocked as he looked more like a shop floor helper.

He gave me his visiting card and he had copied apple logo as his companies. But his tremendous expertise on design of hydraulics and tooling and his command on Cad cam design softwares was amazing. I asked him his story because his highest education was class VII

So his mother used to give him 10 Rs everyday for lunch. He skipped lunch and gave that money to a local cyber cafe. He started learning designing, Aurocad, Pro E and other Cad Cam softwares of his own. Also making website etc while working as peon in that small factory

All his khali time as peon he used to stand on the machines and learn whatever he could. Gradually he became a helper and than machine operator and Forman in that workshop. Then he started designing fixtures and started his own workshop

Today he employs 13 engineers in his workforce of 30 people with a revenue of 4Cr. We released a major order on him today and with his design we expect to increase our productivity by over 100%. India is so full of such talented entrepreneurs.

His biggest problem was visibility. The big corporates would not trust him or his work. This is the problem with most #smallbusiness. Always support #smallstreamers. Some of them will deliver much more and better than big corporates. Trust them.
