There are 4 themes I will discuss in this thread:
MIND
BODY
WORK
SOCIAL
Let's start with mind!

Let's start with mind!
--The mind--
Treat your mind nicely. Use selective ignorance to limit input and avoid distraction.
I'm intentional about what I consume.
That is STEP one: Choose what grabs your attention and decide what needs to be thrown away.

SECOND:
I save my input (articles, notes etc.) in a database.
I use Notion as a database.
I'm intentional about which database I use.
First I collect them in an input (note) database.
Then I transfer them to an output database. I use the PARA method for that.

I won't go in detail about the PARA method. If you want, I can make an extra thread about that.
But to paraphrase I use the following sequence:
- Collect.
- Filter.
- Divide.
- Create.
- Store.
- Delete.

Final step I use to clear my mind:
-Clarify-
How?
Use simple and effective to-do lists with 3-5 items.
I create them based on my current projects.
This will define my wins of the day.
I make them usually the night before.

--The body--
My productivity routine is quite lousy in this area.
With that said, I advise you to focus on the areas you are behind on!
For me that is the body area.
At least this has been the case since lock down.

What do I do?
I make movement feel natural.
I use the bike to do my house visits.
I use movement during my study breaks.
I do push-ups in between consultations.
I always walk to the grocery stores.
Hence, I remove the struggle associated with moving.

--Work--
I work in a doctor's practice.
Most of my work is scheduled in appointments. I have little control over that.
What can I control?

What can I control?
I have certain reoccurring tasks, that I have set up in Notion:
- Every day I check once daily the blood results of patients
- Twice a week I focus on administration.
- Once a week I work on my thesis.
- Once a week we have a team meeting.
Automating these tasks is key.

E-mail, the big anxiety provoking medium.
I try to clean my inbox at least weekly.
I use folders to help me with that.
There is nothing more satisfying than an empty inbox.

--Social--
When you want to grow on Twitter, you will need a system as well.
Tip 1: automation.
I schedule my tweets once a week with Tweetdeck.
This helps me as well with my work area. This means I can keep focused on my job during the day.

Tip 2: Treat social media as a project.
I make a project for each of my social media scheduling.
Every week I review the notes I can use for these projects.
Then I divide these projects in tasks that will appear in my daily to-do inbox.

Tip three: Consume with intent to create.
I only limit my consumption to two areas:
- Personal interest (Medicine)
- Subjects related to my social media niche area.
This really helps me to focus on the essential.

Final tip: Keep track of your daily stories.
Stories connect people. Stories will make your message more powerful.
Just recently I started with the practice of remembering and noting down one story each day.
This way I have an entire story reservoir to share.

That was my quick walk-through.
I have so much more to share. What do you want to hear next?
1. Study management?
2. Project and task management?
3. PARA method?
4. Personal knowledge management with Obsidian?
5. Tweet creation flow?
You choose for next Tuesday.
