Why does Kyle Hendricks only throw 87 mph and how might his mechanics play a role?

Part 1: Posture

➡️Hendricks doesn't maintain a pelvic stack during his forward move, leaking into the toe/quad vs. staying over the heel/glute.
Part 2: Early heel disconnection & arm timing

➡️Hendricks dumps into the toe/quad which disconnects his heel and leads to early pelvic rotation.

➡️Hendricks has a hand-driven arm path and early arm timing vs a scap-driven arm spiral that flips up right at landing.
Part 3: Linear follow through

➡️Hendricks has a more linear, forward-crunching follow through as opposed to delayed trunk rotation around the spine.

➡️This may be a contributor to strike-throwing ability, but represents at least a minor velocity leak.
I'd love to hear your thoughts as to what else you see in these two sets of mechanics.

Obviously velocity isn't everything and I'm not saying Hendricks should change anything - just using this comparison as a discussion point.
