How To MAXIMIZE Muscle Gains.

No bullshit thread 👇
Disclaimer: this thread will specifically be describing how to maximize muscle growth through nutrition

You do NOT have to do everything in this thread to build muscle.

This is simply the most optimal way to do it.
1) Eat 1.2-1.6g of protein per lb of lean body mass

Protein is the building block of muscle PERIOD.

Take a look at our sliding scale below to see how much you should be eating (yes it will be a lot)
2) Eat a 250 calorie surplus

This is the largest surplus I would recommend to anyone trying to maximize muscle growth while not putting on absurd amounts of unnecessary fat.

If done right, this should result in about 2lbs of weight gain per month.
3) Eat 4-5 meals per day evenly distributed with at least 30g of protein in each

Muscle growth can't happen without the building block of muscle.

This is why long periods of fasting do not aid in muscle growth.
4) High-Performance Diet

Once you figure out how much protein and calories you need to eat, put aside 30% of your remaining calories for fat (this is the minimum for general health requirements). Fill in the rest with carbs.

A higher carb diet allows for better gym performance.
5) Hydrate

Drink at least 1 gallon of water a day.

Make sure you are drinking at least 2 glasses of water before you go train.

Hydrated body = better training performance
