The heatwave in August (excess deaths in older males from circulatory diseases) had a more significant impact on excess death than Autumn COVID.
Mortality profiles confirm the existence of COVID last 3 weeks of October and 1st week November. COVID profiles include mention of pneumonia, relatively higher proportion of over 65s, sex equity and tendency towards deaths in care home and/or hospital.
