I refrain from recommending a cocktail, but at 200k cases per DAY now of COVID19, I think it may be time to go ahead:

I think folks should consider taking an Aspirin 162 mg daily (the same dose being trialed by RECOVERY I believe) at the onset of symptoms from COVID19.
The medical establishment had 7 months to RCT Aspirin and other anti-platelets and anticoagulants for early symptomatic COVID19, and it didn't. My twitter feed is a testament.

It preferred to spend its time and energy on where the $$$ led it. It's an embarrassment.
I should clarify that I am not alone in recommending this, as it is NOW being trialed by RECOVERY and at Harvard and other large institutions. However, the time is of the essence, and that concept unfortunately never registered with those I pleaded with to listen and trial it.
The backlash to this tweet will be fierce. The critics will pretend that IF YOU ENROLL IN A TRIAL of placebo vs Aspirin in early COVID19, you're doing God's work and you're on the right side of history and medicine.

But if you don't, and just take Aspirin willy nilly, it's bad.
That being said, please consult with your treating physician on all matters related to your treatment, but if you happen to not be able to find a physician or a trial to enroll in, then imagine you've enrolled in a Harvard-run trial currently going on with Aspirin in COVID19.
And please, at the moment's notice of shortness of breath or chest pain, you MUST GET YOURSELF to an Emergency Room - please don't waste your time with Urgent Cares or PCP's office. Not much help there to be had.

You need labs, CT Chest, possible Heparin and admission.
It is NOT okay to heed advice of SITTING HOME toughing it out because the hospitals are jam-packed and you're in your 20s or 30s or 40s. DON'T SIT HOME.

You can easily clot or decompensate quickly if you're already symptomatic with chest pain, shortness of breath, or low O2.
At a rate of 200k infections per day in the US, honestly, we cannot sit and wait for some shiny RCT out of Harvard with confetti and a round of applause on Twitter, before we accept the overwhelming evidence already existing on COVID19's fatal clotting and platelet dysfunction.
I have and will happily continue to answer (most) private messages people send me on Twitter, but my message has become repetitive, as outlined above.

This disease doesn't care if you're 20 or 30 or healthy or lifting weights. Please GET HELP when something is off.
The number of super-fit athletes (that I know of - have messaged me) in their 20s, 30s, 40s who got COVID, and toughed it out at home, and now have severe longhaul symptoms are staggering.

An anti-platelet or basic doses of heparin may have prevented some of the chronic symptoms
That is the only regret these people have, is when they decided that they're too healthy and too fit to bother with hospitals, and sat home and toughed it out, now realizing that some of this carnage they're dealing with in longhaul 7 months later may have been rectifiable easily
So again, beyond the Aspirin and whatever else I recommend here, I plead with you to get help, at the very least come out here on Twitter and msg me and others publicly or privately, and we will try to help you the best way we can

We realize that help is hard to find for some.
