An adswap is similar to a Solo Ad but instead of paying someone to email their list for you, you return the favor.

They email their list with your offers and you email your list with their own offers.

Sounds harmless right? Read on!
Yes, this is a common strategy to build your list.

The advantages are it's fast and free and it's targeted traffic.
Think about it, every time you do an adswap some of your subscribers will subscribe to the list of someone else.

One might argue that they will still find their way on other lists by themselves.

This is true, but encouraging them to subscribe to other lists doesn't help any.
Sure you build your list quickly but you will be sacrificing quality for quantity.

Adswaps are a great method to leverage your list but at the same time they are also one of the worst ways to build your list because the quality can be complete junk and burned out traffic
The bottom line is that while adswaps are a quick way to build your list, they can be completely useless and nonresponsive.

Like everything in life, trust the process.
