I don’t think the situation re ‘behaviour’ has really changed that much. Should steer clear from simplistic conclusions. There are multiple sources that show a diverse picture.

And then TIMSS also provides some metrics. All in all, quite a diverse picture for England. There are more sources. Putting them side-by-side useful. It’s one of those things I have done in numerous twitter threads but writing it up in an article elusive.
