A couple of months ago, I was astonished at @GovKemp's reckless May 31 executive order that gave the go-ahead for overnight camps in his state.
It went about as well as you would have expected. Out today, an important case report in @CDCMMWR. https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/69/wr/mm6931e1.htm

The report is short and in plain language; I encourage people to read the whole thing. At least 260 of 597 campers and staff were infected, many of them in a three day period.
Here are some of the important takeaways.
1) Extremely high attack rate probably well in excess of 50%.

2) The attack rate among children 6-9 was also over 50%. Younger children are not somehow magically resistant.
3) A policy of testing counselors <12 days before arrival appears to have failed—unsurprisingly—to prevent introduction of disease.
