6-10 day turnaround time will not help prevent spread to others or get medical care when needed.

Worse, when people get results back 6-10 days later, many may erroneously assume they are free of virus on the day of results. This will create a false sense of security

Positive tests will often lead to an unnecessarily long quarantine of an additional 10+ days. Not useful

And positive results 6, 10, 14... days later will send contact tracers down largely difficult and useless paths looking for people who may have been infected perhaps weeks earlier.

This needs to stop. The theater of testing must be changed.

With 6-10, or 15 day turnaround times, may as well just wait 10 days and get an antibody test.

It'll give you more information that could actually be useful (including if you've been infected recently or anytime in the past few months at least)
