अप्पय्य दीक्षित-An आन्ध्रदेश ornament of the भारद्वाज गोत्र of the भारद्वाज गण of the आङ्गिरसाः (Descendants of ऋषि अङ्गिरस् ); championed the defense of शैवमत against the churlish, authored many a beautiful स्तोत्र; an ocean of वेद & वेदान्त & a genius of the field of poetics.

नीलकण्ठ दीक्षित-अप्पय्य's grand-nephew inherited that genius but marked it with his own stamp. This ornament of भारद्वाज गोत्र graced तिरुमलै नायक's court in madurai; a connoisseur of काव्य & अलंकार, an early master of dark humor in his कैविडम्बन & an आचार्य of श्रीविद्या.

श्री विद्यारण्य-Glory of भारद्वाज गोत्र, the 12th पीठाधिपति & शङ्कराचार्य of शृङ्गेरि शारदापीठ; brought light to भारत by establishing हरिहरराय & बुक्कराय in power, thus giving a blessed beginning to the विजयनगर line. A महातपस्वि & an ocean of knowledge of शास्त्राणि (śāstra-s).

अल्लसानि पॆद्दन (అల్లసాని పెద్దన), another luminary of the भारद्वाज गोत्र in the vijayanagaran era, 1 of the 8 great poets of the court of कृष्णदेवराय, author of the telugu literary masterpiece, मनुचरित्र, which narrates the story of the birth of स्वरोचिष मनु

त्यागराज, 1 of the 3 founding fathers of the carnatic stream of the classical indic सङ्गीतसम्प्रदाय; born as a blessing to the भारद्वाज गोत्र in तिरुवारूर् , TN & named after its shiva of that great shrine; he grew up to be a musical genius & one of the most glorious रामभक्ताः

To fellow भारद्वाजाः, we will return to भारद्वाज गोत्र soon; not to worry. We will now see two great souls from the गौतम गोत्र of the गौतम गण for there is not much time left tonight.

श्रीराघवेन्द्रतीर्थ-1 of the greatest माध्वसम्प्रदाय आचार्याः, पीठाधिपति of कुम्भकोणमठ. 1000s have been & are still being blessed from his वृन्दावन at मन्त्रालय, KN. Glory of गौतम गोत्र, an ocean of compassion & erudition, master of the वीणा, one believed to be प्रह्लाद himself.

श्याम शास्त्रि-Another of the Carnatic triad; this gem of गौतम गोत्र was born in a family of अर्चकाः of the बंगारू कामाक्षी temple. Devotion to कामाक्षी naturally ran in the blood of this genius who encoded secrets of श्रीविद्या सम्प्रदाय in his compositions for the initiated.

श्रीरामानुज: Gem of the हरितगोत्र of केवलाङ्गिरसगण taking descent from मन्धातृ, अम्बरीष & युवनश्व of the इक्ष्वाकु line, (these 3 became ancestors of ब्राह्मणाः by the grace of आन्गिरस ऋषयाः), a lion of the विशिष्टाद्वैत school; author of श्रीभाष्य, deemed to be आदिशेष himself:

नाथमुनि-रत्न of शठमर्षणगोत्र of केवलाङ्गिरसगण, a पूर्वाच्र्य of the विशिष्ताद्वैत-श्रीवैष्णव सम्प्रदाय; he who single-handedly retrieved the दिव्यप्रबन्ध, an exquisite tamizh canon of 4000 verses for विष्णु, from obscurity even as वराहदेव retrieves the earth from the waters.

यामुनाचार्य(श्री आळवन्दार्)-शिखामणि of शठमर्षणगोत्र of केवलाङ्गिरसगण from श्रीरङ्गम्, नाथमुनि's grandson; inspired रामानुज's धार्मिक career with 3 last wishes; authored गीतार्थसंग्रह & सिद्धित्रय, wrote आगमप्रामाण्य to defend प्रामाण्य (authoritativeness) of पाञ्चरात्रागम:
