So weird to hear so called devout Hindus intellectualizing the dharma - trying to explain the devatas in scientific terms, in western parameters - this means this force or nature and this and that../
They are already gone
For me and rest of us plebs being Hindu is loving and living with the Devi and devatas. They are part of my life, family members and forces of nature that are living entities. And our lives are so beautiful and majestic due to their presence
Just run far from those examining
The original mula Ramayana had 1 billion shlokas compared to the 24000 of the Valmiki Ramayana.
How much have we lost? I wonder how much of our history, our experiences went up in flames when Nalanda and Taxila were burnt
The forest was more beautiful than the kingdom
Such a long long time ago - much before. The standards of beauty were so interesting,,, and how many human mutations must have existed that have gone now
Note - the color, canine descriptions, ajanubahu, very interesting concepts of beauty
Before we became mentally colonized this was beautiful
If Black Lotus existed .. this is the color
The supreme love of Sita- Ram. Sometimes Osho gets it right. In Valmiki Ramayana without it's biases you realize that ultimately Sita-Ram were lovers and soulmates.
It was easy for them to be ideal spouses because of the love they had for each other.

People keep calling Sita a chaste wife and ideal wife - a role model for her piety and devotion but they forget to look at the piety and devotion of Rama as a husband and lover. Later he had to let his role as King supersede all roles but he never stopped loving Sita
Who was Swayamprabha? So much knowledge lost, did it all go up in the burning of the great universities and temples
All we know is she was antelope leather clad ascetic guarding a strange network of caves/ where time and space bent - so utterly strange http://yousigma.com/religionandphilosophy/kishkindhakanda-chapter51.html
The Vanara's were literally teleported by her and what seemed to be a fraction of time, was actually a whole season into a completely different place.. The question I ask is/ did Rama also use the cave network to get back to the oceanfront so much lost/ so much unknown.

What a beautiful rendition - Aditya Hridayam Strotam / It was recited by the Rishi Agastya to Raghava on the battlefield before fighting Rāvaṇa.
