Today, @angelasmithmp signed on to Twitter, anointed herself Chief Rabbi, and is using her new rabbinical authority to decree who is and is not a real Jew, or at least who the acceptable Jews are. Only in the UK, and only when it comes to the eagerness of Blairites to sleazily exploit anything, no matter how sensitive (e.g. cynically invoking anti-semitism as a political weapon), can *having dinner with a group of Jews* be deemed further proof of one's anti-semitism.
If @angelasmithmp wants to be a credible rabbinical authority, she should probably learn the word "seder" when denouncing Jews and their allies who attend one. Also, if she has a list of the acceptable British Jews and the banished ones, she should share that list. So offensive.
Seriously: imagine being a British Jew, waking up to a decree from @angelasmithmp that nobody can meet with you - attend "seber" with you - because you're the wrong kind of Jew & thus on the banished list, all while she weaponizes anti-semitism against you for her own ends.
Yep - in the ugly spectacle of anti-Corbyn Labourites so blatantly exploiting (and thus trivializing and weakening) anti-semitism accusations for political ends, these tweets from @angelasmithmp about who are the good and bad Jews is an excellent example of actual anti-semitism.

I intended to write a satirical headline mocking the depiction of Corbyn's seder dinner with Jews as anti-semitic, but I see it's already a real headline. Satire has no chance of keeping up with Blairite pundits in UK media. It's acceptable in the UK to keep lists of Bad Jews

The more I think about what these non-Jewish British MPs did today - decreeing certain Jews as not real Jews, or not suitable to meet with, because of their criticisms of Israel - the more disgusting it becomes. It's especially vile now when Israel is murdering Gazan protesters.

The silence over @angelasmithmp and @JWoodcockMP's actual anti-semitism definitively reveals that the recent UK controversies over anti-semitism and Labour have nothing to do with anti-semitism, and everything to do with destroying Corbyn. Anti-semitism is the exploited pretext.
Every form of bigotry exists in every political faction. That includes the left. Of course some on the left are anti-semitic, and that should be taken seriously & denounced. But the @angelasmithmp/@JWoodcockMP campaign is blatant, coordinated anti-semitism from elected officials.
