The Arrival Movie on Hulu is really good. Once again there are esoteric layers within it... I'm seeing occult concepts in everything now.

SPOILER

Aliens come to earth in 12 pods(12 signs of the zodiac, 12 disciples, 12 months, etc).
Different countries spend months around the world in military encampments trying to understand their language. We almost go to war with them cuz we can't understand them.

The one Dr. chick that understands em deciphers the language and masters time travel.
The twist in the film is that the aliens aren't there to hurt us. They're on earth cuz they'll "need our help in 3000 years".

Their language lets them perceive time beyond 4 dimensions. They don't see time linearly

When we understand their language (symbols) we become the same
So the Dr who first learns the language basically goes back in time, writes a book decoding the language, it's ready for her in the future and she somehow knows it all, then she does some some other time travel shit to save the day.

After that the aliens disappear...
Now this ties into certain concepts of psychic ability/telepathy being tied to lack of use/need of regular speech, the fact the Egyptian language was based on images/symbols, when we take psychedelics like shrooms our language processing centers get disturbed, etc.
And the time portion. I've said before time isn't flowing in one direction like a river but we're actually in a cosmic ocean of space and time. Space and time aren't separate because one can't exist without the other.

We as humans are limited to perceiving time in a line.
Beings or consciousnesses that are higher than ours could possibly perceive time beyond our linear perception. Even higher beings could deliberately influence it. And by perceiving it alone they would be influencing it though I'm sure there'd be a spectrum to what degree.
The idea that by simple language, perception, and awareness we could time travel and interact with our "past self", literally ourselves in the past is very trippy but not really unheard of.

Then there's the predictive programming, 'hidden in plain sight' aspects of this movie
As in why does it seem like the media is pushing this concept of humanity "uniting against an alien force" so much, though it's been done as a concept for ages but it's interesting to me that it's coming from Hollywood (not to be trusted).

But interesting nonetheless.
I have a few interesting "doomsday" scenarios that I could see happening.

1. US does false nuclear attack or EMP against ourselves to justify World War and martial law in the US to control the populace. Maybe if our economic system ever crumbles.

2. Fake alien attack.
3. Real alien attack.

4. Real nuclear war.

5. Asteroid

6. Environmental collapse/pollution

7. Unstoppable disease

8. Dolphins start walking on land and take over completely
