Our Constitution was handwritten by Shri. Prem Behari Raizada who took 6 months and used 254 various nibs to write the Constitution. (Image Source - Prem Foundation)
Our original constitution copy was then sent to Survey of India office where these handwritten copies were copied and distributed to its members. Even now, very few copies are freely available in the market.
Constitution of India is not only a beautiful document but a beautifully presented document too. Illustrations include Mohenjodaro period to Vedic and Epic periods to that of Maurya and Gupta Empire.

The Dandi march of the Father of the Nation, Gandhiji is also captured in the Constitution.
Other illustrations include the Muslim period to British period, Tipu Sultan, Rani Lakshmi Bai and Akbar
Under Revolutionary leaders Subash Chandra Bose finds a mention. "In this holy war for India's liberation, we ask for your blessings and Good wishes"
Signature pages of the Constitution. We can see the signatures of the first President of India Dr. Rajendra Prasad and the First Prime Minister of India Pandit Nehru.
