This point in our American history will be used later on to discuss how important the seperation of church and state are. Bringing religion into politics is the most absurd thing on earth mostly because the second most absurd thing on earth is religion itself.

It’s fine to be religious. It’s a phenemona in society whose purpose is to help humans make sense of our complex world. Historically, it’s necessary in terms of fraternity&social structure. So be religious if it makes you comfortable, but don’t fuck with someone’s else’s comfort.

Your comfort whether you find it in Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Baha’i, Buddhism, Scientology, or nothing at all should never supersede anyone else’s. Why? Bc that creates an *inefficient* & oppressive culture. Want comfort? Want money? Want success? ACCEPT & WORK WITH EVERYONE
