Someday, I want to sit down and write the 100 page volume of gushing critical analysis that @tmbg’s album "Flood" deserves.
In every song, there is always Yet Another Level: in lyrical poetry, in production, in musical arrangement, and in thematic sarcasm.
It’s tempting on first listen to hear it as a pleasantly upbeat twee pop album

But that hides a profoundly deep darkness running throughout
