On one hand it's bad because it blurs boundaries, on the other I have been doing so little actual work it's incredible

Legit 2-3 hours of work tops an official 8 hour day, the rest is just gravy https://twitter.com/TheAgeofShoddy/status/1378534974979194880
It's not even like I'm slacking, I'm pretty much getting the same amount of shit done, it's just that being in an office incentivizes you to stretch every task out over hours and hours because you'll have nothing else to do except extra work if they notice you got nothing to do
Meanwhile WFH incentivizes you to get shit done ASAP and then have hours upon hours left for your own things and projects or just to crank one out

As always, incentives matter
The current approach is psychotic AI measures to make sure people """work""" (sit at the computer, bored)

The actual lesson in a sane society not brain poisoned by the Protestant work ethic meme is that the average person can work like 3-4 hours/day tops https://twitter.com/apex_simmaps/status/1378539335566364673?s=19
