Good morning!
I have a small, quiet suggestion today:
Let’s be encouragers.
It’s important in the offline, ‘real’ world, sure, but even on social media and such – can we try to use positive words today?
Maybe you’re unfamiliar with the idea. Let me give you some examples!

Maybe you’re unfamiliar with the idea. Let me give you some examples!
Someone posting an update on their project, and they’re nervous/excited/unsure/confident, but it’s not necessarily your thing? You have no interest, no familiarity in the genre/medium, your tastes simply differ, etc.?
You can *still* encourage them!
Wild, I know.

Wild, I know.
You can affirm the work they’ve put into it, you can encourage their efforts in continuing to hone existing skills and learn new ones, you can remind them the importance of putting new things into the world and the power of creativity, you can root for their success in general.
Someone having a rough time and you’re unsure what to say?
Admitting you recognize the inadequacy of your words can be neat. So, too, is affirming truths that remain true: The value of their life. Your wish for their health. The flavor their unique voice adds to the world.

Haven’t heard from someone from a while but you still think of them but you’re unsure if it’d be intrusive to say something to them?
Craft a short, gentle-as-possible message, just letting them know you think they’re great and you hope they’re well. And that’s it.

Keep in mind they have no obligation to acknowledge your message nor respond to it – but it remains true that, in that moment, your words might be meaningful and maybe even just what they needed to hear. Just don’t make it about you. You’re giving a gift and walking away.
Finally, I would encourage *you* to consider just being… kind, in general.
There’s enough acerbic hyper-sarcastic passive-aggressive sharp-elbowed people spending their online time dunking on everyone and engaging in petty spats. Be something better and more helpful.
Thanks!
