The sales from @Mad_Dog_Jones last night's drop are comparable to an ANNUAL PROFIT of top-tier design studios working for major brands like @Nike @adidas or @Apple

Until recently, working for these brands was the golden standard for many digital creators.
They are cool! You can tell your mum about it because unlike with #NFTs, she knows what Nike is and they pay you for being creative.

Overtimes, producers, stress, no time off, making something for someone else, selling a product, or making stage designs where it's definitely not you in the spotlight.

..the scales are tipping and the talent pool is becoming more interested in crypto art than working for brands.
Fewer creators interested/available in the commercial space = brands will have to come with better budgets, better conditions, and cooler briefs to attract the talent.

If you feel FOMO for not selling heaps. Focus on becoming a better artist. Not the highest seller.
The taste for what sells will inevitably change over time.
What sells today might not sell tomorrow. You can't predict that.
Strong in concept, quality and aesthetics will always be in demand in either of these spaces IMO. Crypto art or commercial.

So I just wanted to say thank you. Thanks to the people who have been pioneering NFT's for years when most of us didn't get it.
