He woke up the dead Ummah. He was predicting everything that will happen. Everyone had given allegiance to Yazid except him.
And same thing happened after Husain (as) was Martyred.

To test their loyalty Imam Husain (as) first sent his cousin Muslim Bin Aqil. They betrayed & killed him with his sons.

Later on when it was too late, Hurr realized he did a great mistake & apologized from Imam Husain (as) & fought with him against Yazid's army in Karbala & got Martyred.

In Karabla. 18 members of Muhammad's (saw) family & 54 companions of Husain (as) were mercilessly butchered & killed thirsty.

After all the trials in Karabla, Kufa & Syria. Ahlulbayt that remained alive returned to Madina from Yazid's palace.
Wallah we love Husain (as) so much & we will always be Hussaini.
