Here's what we need in relation to Covid communications right now.
1. More from my colleagues on what's going on in the different regions in Ireland. Most departments do not have a communications specialist like mine does. That's why you hear from my dept so often.

2. Need a regular update on vaccinations which is happening too in fairness.
3. We need a recovery plan for all sectors of community and business and the arts. Something that will reassure us of what will be in place to help us recover socially and economically.

4. Healthcare workers need to know how they will be allowed to recover in light of the exhaustion they feel now and the likely pent up demand in the health service after all of this.
5. We also need some curveball planning- what do we do if a new variant arises and the vaccines don't protect. People need to feel safe and protected.
