Meditation made simple.

-Thread-
Many people (including me) will tell you to start meditating in order to gain control over your life.

However, most people have no idea on how to meditate and how to get the most out of their meditation sessions.

In fact, most are unable to focus and properly meditate.
What you need to understand is that meditation is more about getting comfortable with your thoughts than how you do it.

While positions of meditation will affect the energy levels generated, it is useless for you (at this stage) to focus on this particular aspect.

Just start.
An easy way for beginners to start meditating is to focus on their breath

Try to slow down your breath and solely focus on that, your brain frequencies start going up: your brain activity & focus drastically increase.

Before diving deep in your thoughts you need to be at peace
Once you are able to control your breath and keep it at a level where you feel comfortable,

Your next focus should be on being honest about your emotions and feelings.

It is time to connect with oneself

This is probably the hardest part; most people get lost in their thoughts.
If you do get lost in your own thoughts and are unable to properly focus;

Define what you want to meditate on.
Focus on NOT thinking of anything else.

Instead of forcing focus on said thing, force focus on not thinking of anything else.

Makes it easier to do.
Another tip for meditation is not to do it randomly.

In fact, it is better to meditate either first thing in the morning or right before getting to bed

Your brain frequency being at Theta level, you can then make the most out of your sessions

The most important thing to keep in mind is that meditating might seem hard or useless at first.

But once you start doing it properly; you start to feel immense benefits and your days' quality DRASTICALLY improves.

Do not focus on how it's done.
Just do it.
