For various reasons, I have been reviewing many dozens of applications for jobs and fellowships over the last weeks (thread).
First, I am amazed by all the cool people out there working so hard and sorry I have to read what you write so quickly and callously
Don't take it personally if you get bad news. It often comes down to limited means and strategic compromises of various kinds. These are not about you or what you do
But some advice: you *cannot* say nothing about pre-registration, replicability and open science in your application
If you do, you place yourself at a major disadvantage in terms of getting jobs and money. Others are doing it. The field has changed.
So please, learn about Open Science, become a leader, and then tell us about how you do that when you seek jobs or money.
And good luck out there! (end of thread)
