Shabib Ahmad, The boy who revived Cricket Threads.

A Thread🧵
The boy born on the 19th February 2005, would go on to become the king of cricket threads.

Shabib joined twitter on 17th Novemeber, 2020, a fateful day for cricket fans on twitter.

His very first tweet, made it clear to us that he was a Qalandar, Dil Se.
His initial name (shaheen) on twitter made it crystal clear that he was a Shaheen Afridi super fan.

He set off on his amazing journey of cricket threads on the 29th of December 2020, when he posted tge brilliant thread on Younis Khan, a fine tribute to a legend.
His next thread on new years eve, on one of my favourite fast bowlers Umar Gul, another wonderful thread on a legend.
His 3rd thread, and the first of the year 2021 was posted on the second of January, was on Younis khan’s batting partner, Misbah ul haq, another brilliant piece of writing.
Up next was a short thread on the young Pakistani pacer Naseem Shah, brilliantly defending him, and telling Naseem’s critics to not he too harsh.
Two days later he posted his first thread on a Non-Pakistani player, the Irish born, England’s world cup winning captain Eoin Morgan, needless to say it was another fantastic thread.
Then Shabib’s fans had to wait days for his next thread, and it was worth the wait as it was on Pakistan’s spin legend Mushtaq Ahmed, the thread was superb.
His latest and seventh thread was on Pakistan’s test match winner, the magician Yasir Shah, the thread was magical just like shah’s bowling.
Shabib revealed his first name on twitter on the 15th of February 2020.
