That's essentially what different exchanges do today (Binance, Coinbase, Huobi, etc). So what does that mean for INJ and adoption?

Well if you were in my INJ unofficial discord, you would have remembered some words from Eric Chen (INJ CEO) that were rather peculiar.
He states how the can “connect to INJ.” Huobi looks like the first exchange to actually make a potential move for that connection. That has pretty big implications. What else is coming?
Lets think about it. Binance is INJ’s biggest investor. Coinbase and Injective Protocol share the same legal team, and they got listed to Coinbase Custody extremely early (must have been institutional interest). Early today @mcuban name dropped INJ. This is all in testnet phase.
We have seen the problems with centralized exchanges. Injective Protocol presents a solution that mitigates the transferal of CEX’s customers to a decentralized option. What about the exchanges revenue? They get 40% of the fees accrued, plus new INJ from staking. They still win.
