It’s wild that we don’t talk about the fact that much of Pangaea was in the southern hemisphere and surrounded by a superocean which was called Panthalassa.
The world's continents are slowly moving away from the Mid-Atlantic Ridge toward the middle of the Pacific Ocean which is pretty sweet but scary! BUT, fret not because scientists believe that the continents will collide with one another in about 80 million years! PANGEA TWO!
And on and on we go. This is nothing knew, you sexy mother fuckers, cause the earliest of the supercontinents is called Rodinia and was formed in the Precambrian period nearly a billion years back! A BILLION YEARS!
