I am going to try to do another thread for #RareDiseaseDay2021 , this one on the ethical challenges with prenatal genetic testing. I am doing this with a baby asleep on my lap so I will be potentially slow/have to vanish half way through and finish later (if she wakes up). 1/

When I was in high school, back in the dark ages, I thought genetics was the coolest topic ever, and I wanted to be a geneticist. I did actually get in to study genetics among my various university options, and clinical genetics remains close to my heart. 3/
