. @MrKRudd just let the cat out of the bag at the media diversity inquiry comparing media landscape to what side is in government. Australia's elite are unhappy about the way you're voting, think you're too stupid to make up your own mind & want to control what media you consume.
What an absolute waste of time this media diversity inquiry is. Media looking into government and keeping it accountable is a good thing. Government looking into the media, no matter what side of politics, is an attack on press freedom and free speech.
Media bias occurs in every outlet. The Guardian Australia for example is openly "progressive" and its editoral and reporting has a slant. Similarly, some News Corp outlets (not all) lean to the right. Both are good signs of a healthy media where freedom of speech is valued.
Laughable that Kevin Rudd thinks The Age and SMH are centre right 😂

AFR is hard right.

& the Guardian Australia is "centre left"

This is a good comedy show.
Seriously, if you need to use media landscape to explain why people vote a different way, you must hold your fellow Australians with absolute contempt. It is possible that your fellow Australians consume a whole bunch of media (incl YouTube & Faceook) then make up their own mind.
