The Legislature heard from CO Chief Justice Brian Boatright today. Learning of the allegations in recent weeks against the #judicialdepartment have been incredibly discouraging to me. As an attorney, the place that I hold sacred among all others, is a courtroom. (more in thread)

To me, the courtroom has and can be the great equalizer. This is a place where all people, regardless of how much power or money they have, should be on the same level. In order for this to happen, we must have accountability from the Justice Department. (more in thread)

Today, I was encouraged to hear that Chief Boatright made that commitment today as the people of Colorado deserve and demand a fair and equitable judicial branch.
