OUTAGE UPDATE: Rotating outages were discontinued this morning at 1:00 a.m. However, the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) remains at Energy Emergency Alert Level 3. (1/4)
As temperatures fall this afternoon and evening, ERCOT could mandate additional statewide rotating outages to reduce strain on the Texas electric grid. If implemented, the rotating outages would last an estimated 45 minutes, followed by a minimum of 45 minutes of power. (2/4)
If you are experiencing an outage longer than 1 hour, please contact utility dispatch at 940-349-7000. A 24-hour warming station is available at MLK Jr. Recreation Center at 1300 Wilson St. (3/4)
