how to build bennett ; a thread :)

ok since bennett is currently a rate up on keqing banner, i decided to make a quick guide on how to build him! please note that this is strictly for support bennett, not dps bennett. this is just what i think his best build is, you can build him however you want idc lol

let's start with the stats you want for bennett !! this is the order from most to least useful stats for him:

energy recharge > hp% > healing bonus > the rest

if ur wondering why you need hp on him, it's because his healing scales off of his hp! also, his energy recharge should be 180-200%, since he is strictly a burst support.

now the artifacts! for the sands, you want energy recharge. if you have a weapon with energy recharge as a substat, use hp%! for the goblet, you want hp% main stat. and for the circlet, healing bonus !!

please note that if you decide to use an hp% sands instead, make sure to try to get as much energy recharge from your substats as possible!

since leveling up artifacts is really time & resource consuming and you only want to level up the artifacts that you truly need, make sure to not level up your feather on him! having it only at +4 should be enough.

as for the artifact stets, the best set for support bennett is the 4 piece noblesse set. please note that the effect of the 4 piece can't stack, so only one party member should have it on them, and that one should be bennett since he's strictly a burst support.

if you're early game ( -ar40 ) use the exile 2 piece & scholar 2 piece for 40% energy recharge !!

crimson witch is not good on him (support bennett, it's good for dps bennett) since yes, he will be dealing pyro dmg with his burst, but that's not what you want to prioritize.

now the weapons !! if you have a 5 star sword, use it on him and level it up as much as possible. your weapon's atk is a part of the base atk of your character, and bennett's atk boost that he gives in his ult scales off of his base atk.

please note that atk artifacts are not apart of the base atk of your character, which is the reason why leveling up your feather is pretty much useless.

here are his best weapons !!
skyward blade > favonius sword > sacrficial sword > skyrider sword

you can use any sword on him, these ones are his best tho.
( just use a sword with an energy recharge substat if you can! )

even tho i recommended skyrider sword, it's definitely not the best since it's a 3* and has low base atk, so if you have a high base atk sword and can manage your energy recharge with your artifacts, that's completely fine too.

now the talents !!
the order from the talents you should prioritize are:
burst > skill > normal

i'd say don't even bother leveling up his normal & skill. strictly focus on his burst.

bennett should be your second character in your party you should prioritize to level up after your main dps, since as you level him up, his hp, base atk & energy recharge increases!

for his constellations, his first one is definitely a really good one that you should go for in the keqing banner if you want to, since with it your bursts atk boost no longer has a hp restriction (at c0, you have to be above 70% hp.) the rest are nice, but not necessary.

but for his 6th constellation, please be careful before you activate it. it infuses all weapons with pyro and that can be good for pyro dmg dealers, but not for hydro etc!

here are characters he goes well with !!
you can use him with pretty much anyone since he's an absolutely insane support, but here are some characters he goes well with!

he'd be the best support for: diluc, klee, childe, keqing, basically anyone lol

here are supports that you can use with him to maximize your damage:
mona, sucrose, xingqiu, diona, beidou, qiqi, kaeya
