Theory states:
Middle class families define the comfort zone

Household income of (40k-130k) puts you in this category, but the mindset applies to all

The quick gist?

Kids born in this comfort zone, rarely leave.

The theory is this
1. Things aren’t ‘bad enough’
2. Things are ‘good enough

1. There’s a lack of hustle.
You aren’t struggling for your next meal.

You have a warm house, food on the table, gas in the car.

You aren’t scrambling for shelter every night

2. There’s not an abundance of opportunity.

When I say things are ‘good enough’ I mean you weren’t born with a silver spoon.
You don’t have family connections, networks, lucrative partnerships, that can help you in the future.

Summary:
You likely sit between...

Struggling for your next meal
&
Having big $$$ family connections.

This area in the Middle Class Conundrum, the comfort zone.

Living here is deadly.
Not taking risk or branching out, seizing opportunities, because, well, you don’t have to.

You know you’ll be safe at home.

This middle class mindset causes

- lack of ambition
- no true knowledge of ability
- subtle anxiety
- entitlement
- laziness

Luckily, there’s a simple solution

They didn’t have to jump off the deep end, they were thrown in as children

They have hustle ambition & confidence because it was the only way to survive.

But how can you reach this?

Throw yourself off the deep end.

Move out
Pay your own bills
Unchain yourself from comfort
Take matters in your OWN hands.

The most admirable example of this?

It’s sinple in theory but..

difficult in practice.

Nobody wants to leave their warm home, caring family, to make their own food. To create THEIR future.

I saw my middle class mindset.

Starting things, not finishing them

Not struggling for money.

Being ‘okay enough’

So I saved $2000
packed my car
Drove 3000 miles away
Landed in furthest point in the continental USA from my fam
& then?
I made shit happen.
