Yes it really was called The Apartheid of Sex.
Many of the arguments will be familiar. Book is from 1990’s.

Author is a late transitioning male, with a wife (who he calls his “Spice” because he makes up language). He also fathered children.

Rothblatt argues that sex is no longer a meaningful category. @bbceducation showed a lack of ambition when they went for a 100 genders Rothblatt was aiming for 5 billion. Women demanding sex segregated spaces are the type of people who would have imprisoned Nelson Mandela.

LMFAO. Rothblatt is calling this a “grassroots” movement. Billionaire says what? (Look up astro-turfing. Especially if you are lefty bloke with socialist in your bio).

There’s that phraseology “people with vaginas”. He does this a lot. Nobody is saying “genitalia” determines competence. We do say women and girls should not have to undress with strange penis-havers. The male sex should not compete in women’s sport or take women’s places in orgs

He go’s into more detail about sports later but here he highlights that Renee Richards was allowed to play in female tennis. In fact Renee was a trainer for Martina Navratilova which rather begs the question re Martina being called “transphobic” . More on Renee in a minute.

Here Renee repudiates their earlier decision to play against females, conceding it was unfair.

There’s a lot of sleight of hand in these arguments. Ideas are floated re #LadyBrain only to be seemingly repudiated but in fact subtly reinforced. The chromosomes argument is a tactic to claim a sort of biologically determinist argument for transsexuality. Rebuttals incoming.

This U.K. article, in the British Medical Journal, explains routine karyotype testing was abandoned because there isn’t a higher proportion with chromosomal abnormalities in the trans community. Claiming an “intersex” identity is a political tactic/psychological compulsion.

Interesting. If you read the whole thing there’s many rebuttals re female and male brains connected to bio sex but somehow the idea of an “intersex” brain still remains. Sex denialism for actual biological women but “intersex” brains for autogynephilic males.

Check back to the previous quote. I have no big argument with this statement as a stand alone but it sits oddly with the previous statement.

The denial of sexual dimorphism (but nods to #LadyBrian...oops #LadyBrian) is manipulation. The female sex is a category error. Males with #LadyFeelz are valid. Here is another consequence.

I notice we don’t address transvestic fetishism re cross dressing. As for the “indistinguishable from “biological originals”I think thats likely in females on Testosterone (which packs a punch on females). With males, re passing, air suspect the wish is father to the thought.
