As an ethical and economic system, I despise fast food. HOWEVER, I understand its importance in a society where income inequality means that, for many, it's the only option for dining out. That's what I think about when I review things like this: https://thetakeout.com/review-wendy-s-jalapeno-popper-chicken-sandwich-salad-1846291673
Going to Wendy's may be the nicest thing someone can afford to do for their family. That person deserves as much respect as someone who can afford fine dining. Every single system in this world is broken, and people don't deserve to feel like they're the broken things.
When I review fast food items, I write from a place where I was drowning in medical bills and could barely afford to take the kids to McDonald's. When you're in that place, that food you scrimped and saved for better be freaking amazing, even if it's a cheap chicken sandwich.
