If my son is involved in a situation with friends, where they all get in trouble for doing the same thing, I am always more critical to my own son when addressing it than I am of the others.
Why?
Because I have a direct connection to him and have expectations that he will behave a certain way based on our interactions.
Because I have a direct connection to him and have expectations that he will behave a certain way based on our interactions.
This is why I was always more critical of the Democratic party than the Republicans. (Really sick of explaining this common sense concept, too.)
I don't expect anything out of the Republicans. But the Democrats make promises to me and then engage in the purposeful thwarting of executing and implementing those promises. Pretty manipulative. GOP tells me it doesn't love me and won't help me.
Anyone who understands codependency recognizes that is the relationship the Democrats offer people. And most of the leadership sits as enablers to laissez-faire appeasement to Conservatism.
As a result, if you continue your relationship with these abusers, you have no one to blame but yourself.
The only way to defeat this broken system is by building systems & structures to compete with it or by mere force through labor demands.
Political theater is a distraction.

The politics will adapt to the will of the people, when the will of the people becomes strong enough to force the inevitable change the masses generally resist.
