Your eligibility for financial aid is dependent on the money your parents make even tho you have no actual legal rights to that money

And no way to make your parents pay if they refuse

This legal dependence without any way to enforce parental compliance

is a tool that abusive parents use against their adult children

This type of abuse is overwhelmingly present among queer young adults with homophobic parents

Forgiving student loan debt would make an enormous difference to queer people especially

Free college tuition would free evangelical kids from abusive parental control and give them hope and a reason to hang on

Free college and student loan debt forgiveness CANNOT be means tested

BECAUSE CHILDREN DO NOT HAVE A LEGAL RIGHT TO A SINGLE PENNY OF THEIR PARENT'S MONEY
