Abortion sells women a bill of lies.

It tells us we’re not strong enough. That we’re not brave enough. That we’re not capable enough of having a child in less-than-ideal situations.

It makes us sacrifice our child and the maternal bond so women like this can feel empowered:

So women like her can justify their selfishness, their evil.

And abortion is evil. It kills a child. And it damages the woman, forever.

You think Kate gives two shits about women who suffer mentally, emotionally, and physically after abortion?

Spoiler: she doesn’t.

Because if she did, she’d oppose abortion, which is state-sanctioned violence and actual misogyny against women.

Y’all know where I’ve been and what I’ve been through. To Kate, my boys — the light of so many lives, not just mine — shouldn’t be here. Because they “hold me back” and “oppress me.”

I am subservient to no one. I divorced my ex when he was abusive and unhappy in the marriage. I went to school, earn a living. I don’t collect a cent in child support.

I do it all while raising three smart, polite, and wickedly funny boys.

By the way, my ex lost his job when I was pregnant with my eldest and youngest. I lost my job when I was pregnant with my middle son.

I was the “ideal” candidate — poor, jobless, struggling — to have an abortion to “fix” my problems.

Except no.

I was a mother the second I got the positive pregnancy test back. They were alive to me in the instant I knew I carried them.

If we’d have had to live in a cardboard box under a bridge, I would not sacrifice them.

And look where I am now. House, job, running car. My socioeconomic status has changed (despite the ongoing economic fallout from not working in school and the divorce).

My point is jobs, income: all of that is fluid. 12 years ago, after I got fired, I worked in a call center for $9.50 an hour. I got better jobs and quit better jobs. 4-5 years ago, I worked odd jobs to get through nursing school.

Now? I make 2-4x what I made back then.

All while having kids. All while not having my ex husband’s support.

The left, women like Kate, want me and women like me to be a victim. To choose their selfish interests over our children.

I refuse to be a victim. And I refuse to call abortion anything but what it is: EVIL.
