Let talk about menstruation! Firstly only women, however they choose to present, bleed. Men however they choose to present, cannot menstruate because that is not their function in the reproduction of the species. Menstrual blood itself varies from
woman to woman and what her blood flow is like. Menstruation occurs on a monthly cycle though not always for all women. Some women barely notice their moon blood and some are crippled with uterine cramps (I was). Male volunteers were once
hooked up to a machine that simulated period cramps. They lasted 5 minutes before begging to have the experiment stopped. Menstruation is not âdirtyâ or âthe curse of Eveâ or any other rubbish like that. If women didnât menstruate you wouldnât be here to
read this. Obviously Not All Women menstruate, I know that, Iâm not out to ruin their day just chat about menstruation generally. Many men have zero idea about periods, and find the idea disgusting. Some sexually fetishise menstruation for just
that reason. I knew a lad who firmly believed he knew when his mother and sisters were menstruating because the water in the toilet turned blue. Loo Bloos do indeed need replacing regularly. Stupid people sometimes try to attach shame to
menstruation but theyâre idiots so ignore them. There are now a number of charities that provide free menstrual products to girls and women who canât afford them and donating to them is always good. I would like to see a girlâs first period celebrated like
a birthday with joy & presents rather than hidden away as if it were a dark secret. Every woman has had a Mortifying Moonblood Moment. Some men believe menstrual blood has qualities that rob them of their power. If only. There you go. Random period thread.
