There have been many talks about Angad ji or Hanuman ji sitting at same height of Ravana in his court using his tail.

What Valmiki Ramayana tells us that neither of the case is true.

The devotees are probably sharing scene from Ramanand Sagar Ramayana.

I would like to say that late Shri Ramanand Sagar ji was also a devotee of Shri Ram.

He had taken cinematic liberty to show what he did.
He has taken reference probably from few sculptures or carvings from temples.

I have not gone through Ramcharitmanas or any other versions for this specific issue but Valmiki Ramayana tells conclusively that this incident never happened.
