According to CIPD, 40% of LGBT+ workers have experienced workplace conflict.

Start from day one.

Companies can create an Equality Policy and include it as part of the induction for new starters.

Workshops and training from charities like @stonewalluk can help educate on the challenges the LGBT+ community face at work...
Invite speakers.

Stories are powerful, and they're best told by those who have lived through them!

Companies can invite influential speakers to talk to their teams about how we can work together to create a fairer and more equal workplace...
Create open forums and communication channels.

Companies can amplify the voices of their LGBT+ community through open forums, giving the community the platform to speak to board members and managers about how the workplace could change for the better...
Last but not least, celebrate!

It's LGBT+ history month and what the LGBT+ community has done to create a better workplace and society should be celebrated!
