I don’t think that another character will impact me as much as Armin, there is such a precise accuracy in his character, resuming the futuristic and peaceful hope, but never flipping into the cliché, remaining all the time in a constant realism/ optimism
Armin is optimistic in his words and in the dream he has projected for the future, but realistic in himself, suffering from inferiority complex,
And that's why we're being able to recognize ourself in him so easily: Armin is relatable.

Acceptance is one of armin’s main thematic, throughout the manga, admiring his friends more than anything, never thinking of being equal to them, but being driven by them, where jealousy never existed in him, but desiring to just want to be in front and not behind... just once
His dreamy side adds even more, not wanting to realize it alone, but at two, being ready to join the sc, pushed by his powerful curiosity and by the fact of not being alone... And mostly want to keep his promise...

Armin’s main ennemy is and was always himself first, he must confront himself, face his doubts, but Armin unknowingly, and probably never will be, accept himself by accepting that his scenery is to just being able to enjoy every small moments of life, alone or with his friends
To be born in this world to cherish unforgettable moments. inwardly, Armin accepts himself. Because he found a PURPOSE in his life. Being ahead doesn't matter, being behind was what made him free.

There is now his link with his titan's name that he must carry within him, armin doesn't want to destroy but to gather, he's indeed optimistic BUT he's not naive, in the midst of battle he'll use his intelligence to be able to defeat the enemy, whether in manipulation or in lies
But always driven by the fact of having a greater hope behind, to do "evil" to change the future not into good but into better, and that it's sometimes necessary to remove our part of humanity to be able to change something, he's ready to apply it on him
His lack of transformation proves that his greatest weapon isn't the size, but the weight of words, since he was child he has shown maturity and insight, leading him to become commander, proving these qualities. It's shocking and intimidating to him but only natural for others
It's this duality that I love about him, when he's in action he doesn't hesitate. He doesn't create his own justice but condemns those of others who seem unfair to him. He won't use violence when it touches him, but use it when those he care about are hurt/in danger
Getting his hands dirty for the price of loyalty and friendship, but always with the hope of wanting to understand the one he's fighting, not remaining in ignorance, solve the mystery from the outside world to his enemy's spirit
This moment that represents up all that armin is, using his intelligence to shout to the world that he will defend his friends to death, the only time he is ahead, in the front line, is to protect what matters to him

In conclusion Armin’s journey is a journey where many can identify themselves, because it's not always beautiful, but it’s in the cruelty that beauty can born, and Armin from beginning to end, was the one who represents HOPE.

I haven’t talked about all the bond that Armin shares in the story, wanting to focus more on his character, but it also adds how armin has excellent dynamic whether it’s with Eren, Annie mikasa, Jean etc... It create even more depth to his character. Anyway armin goat.
